Chocolate American Bully For Sale — Champion Bloodline Chocolate Puppies
We have chocolate American Bully puppies for sale: Corey and Donnie both carry rich chocolate pigment. Chocolate is a true recessive color, which makes it uncommon without being genuinely rare, and it is the base that lilac dilutes from. All our puppies come from champion Razor Edge and Gottiline parents, and every one is the same price: we do not charge a color premium. Why Choose a Chocolate American Bully
Chocolate is a deep, warm brown running through the entire coat, with a matching brown or liver nose, brown paw pads and amber to light hazel eyes. Good chocolate has real depth to it. A saturated bitter-chocolate tone rather than a washed-out tan.
It is a straightforward recessive, so two chocolate parents always produce chocolate puppies. That makes it more predictable than merle and considerably less expensive than lilac, while still standing out against the blues that dominate the breed.
Related coats: chocolate merle American Bully, chocolate tri American Bully and lilac American Bully.

What Makes a Chocolate American Bully
Chocolate comes from two copies of the recessive b allele at the B locus. The b allele prevents the production of black pigment, converting it to brown throughout. Coat, nose, eye rims and paw pads.
Because it is recessive, a dog needs both copies to show it. Two blue or black dogs that each carry one copy can produce chocolate puppies unexpectedly. Add the dilution gene (d/d) on top of chocolate and you get lilac, which is why the two coats always appear in the same pedigrees.
The genes involved
| Locus | What it controls | Relevant alleles |
|---|---|---|
| B | Black vs brown pigment | B (black) dominant · b (chocolate) recessive |
| D | Dilution of pigment | D (full) dominant · d (dilute) recessive |
| K | Dominant black and brindle | KB (solid) · kbr (brindle) · k (allows A locus) |
Chocolate American Bully rarity and demand
Uncommon rather than rare. Less frequent than blue but far more achievable than lilac, and priced accordingly. A modest premium in most kennels rather than a large one.
| Coat | Rarity | Monthly searches | Typical market premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chocolate | Uncommon | 110 | Low to moderate |
| Blue | Common | 590 | None |
| Lilac | Rare | 170 | High |
| Chocolate merle | Rare | 110 | High |
| Chocolate tri | Rare | 320 | High |
| Black | Common | 170 | None |
Every kennel we know of charges more for the rarer coats. We do not. A lilac merle costs us exactly what a blue costs us to raise, so it is priced the same. Full context in the American Bully price guide and the color genetics chart.
