How Nanny Delivery Works
A flight nanny is a professional courier who flies with your puppy as their carry-on. The puppy stays in the cabin for the entire journey, in a soft carrier under the seat, with someone whose only job on that flight is watching it.
Here is the sequence:
- You place a deposit and we agree a rough delivery window.
- Final vet check. Your puppy is examined and issued a health certificate dated within days of travel. Most airlines require this and we would do it regardless.
- We book the nanny. You get the flight details, the nanny's name and a contact number.
- Travel day. We hand the puppy over at the airport with its paperwork, food and a blanket from the litter. You get a photo at handover.
- Arrival. The nanny calls you on landing and delivers to your door, with all documents.
Why We Do Not Use Cargo
The American Bully is a broad-chested, short-muzzled breed. Heat, stress and restricted airflow are exactly the conditions a cargo hold produces, and they are exactly the conditions this build handles worst. Several major carriers have banned short-nosed breeds from cargo outright after a run of deaths. We reached the same conclusion without needing a policy to force it.
In-cabin nanny transport costs more. We charge it at cost and consider it non-negotiable.
What Delivery Costs
Delivery is quoted at cost, based on where you are and what flights exist. We do not add a margin to it. Tell us your city and we will give you a firm number before you commit to anything.
Collection in person is always free. If you are within a few hours of Sedona — Phoenix, Flagstaff, Prescott, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, driving out is worth considering. You get to meet the parents, and the puppy skips the flight entirely.

The First 48 Hours
Book your veterinary appointment before the puppy lands. It needs to happen within 72 hours to keep the health guarantee valid. Beyond that, keep things quiet. A puppy that has just flown across the country does not need visitors, a party, or a tour of the neighbourhood. Give it a small space, its blanket, water, and let it sleep. Appetite can be off for a day; that is normal and it passes.

Do you ship American Bully puppies in cargo?
No. Never. Every puppy travels in the cabin with a flight nanny who holds it for the whole journey. Cargo holds are loud, temperature-swung and unattended, and this breed's short muzzle makes it a poor candidate for that environment. Many airlines will not accept a brachycephalic dog in cargo at all, and they are right not to.
How much does delivery cost?
It is quoted at cost based on your location. We do not mark it up. Distance, flight availability and the nanny's time are what drive it. Call or text with your city and we will give you an exact figure before you place a deposit, not after.
How long does delivery take to arrange?
Usually three to seven days from deposit. That covers the final vet check, the health certificate (which has to be dated close to travel), and finding a nanny on a route that works. We will give you the date as soon as it is confirmed.
Can I collect the puppy myself?
Yes, and plenty of families do. You are welcome at the kennel near Sedona by appointment. You meet the parents, see where the litter was raised, and drive home with your puppy the same day. It costs nothing and it is the option we would pick.
What if I am not home when the puppy arrives?
The nanny will not hand a puppy to an empty house. We agree a delivery window in advance and the nanny calls you when they land. If your plans change, tell us early and we move the flight.
